To Americans Baidu is the same as Google. Like Google in America, Baidu is the leading search engine in China. Baidu has a much larger lead over Google in China then Google over Microsoft and yahoo combined in the United States. Google claims they are at a disadvantage in China because they cut back their presence in China due to their concerns with the Chinese government.Nevertheless Baidu has a much larger growth potential than Google. With the potential of Baidu far above any other competitor and stocks staying steady but projected to rise most experts would say that it would be foolish to choose Google or any other search engine over the rising Baidu at the moment, But the stocks are based on the people. So what will you choose? China or your homeland......America?
